Simply stunning and charming antique English sterling silver aesthetic double locket with a stork to the front dating from the late Victorian era. To the rear is a blank shield. There is a partial hallmark to the rear above the shield, there is a date letter 'e' but no assay office, very similar to the date letter for 1879 in the Birmingham assay sequence. Good hinge to open and snaps shut securely, inside is a photo of a child and a lock of hair, both slips and lenses are present. Simply wonderful detailing, charming cross detailing around the edges, a simply wonderful Victorian locket.
