Vintage Mid Century circa 1950's Good Pair of Eastern European hand painted, carved and Bobbin Turned Wooden candlesticks in the traditional Desk Style, nicely painted with foliate work in both gold and bronze on black lacquer the candlesticks are accented with Ripe Red Strawberries to both wax bowl foot and sconce, the heavily turned stems to the candlesticks being finished in red and gold.

The Candlesticks weigh 48 grams or 1.69 ounces and stand 10 cm tall or 4 inches with a foot diameter of 7 cm or 2.8 inches, the sconce to each candlestick has an inner diameter (to accommodate a wax candle) of 2.3 cm or 0.8 inches.

In Good used condition these candlesticks will make for a delightful addition to the home bringing a bright splash of colour especially with a lit candle installed are ready to be used.
