Antique circa 1900 Rare example of a Novelty Black Forest Carved Elmwood Bear Duo featured as a beautifully carved and detailed Mother Bear with her Cub, carved so as the cub fits within the mothers open arms and legs as though cuddling, can be either a free standing piece so the bears are sitting or indeed rested upon the back so as playing.

Each bear is in good condition, a small chip the baby bears foot in one area, nothing serious and each bear retains original g lass eyes and hand painted finish to the baby bears maw.
When assembled as one the bears measure 9.3 cm x 7 cm x 5.3 cm in dimension.
