Vintage Mid Century Top quality Sterling Silver Table Cigarette Box in Sterling Silver manufactured in that traditional style finished to the piano hinged lid with an engine turned pattern within a double closed gallery set to the centre with an oblong shaped vacant shield cartouche for engraving, in good clean, undamaged condition the box retains original cedar wood lining to the interior that shows no signs of wear or perishing, of a good size the box when closed shut measures 11.5 cm x 8.5 cm x 4 cm in dimension, the side wall to the box is impressed with good clear markings indicating Birmingham assay office circa 1960 with the makers mark for Harman Brothers of Spencer Street, Birmingham.
