Antique 'Titanic Era' Swiss Made, English Sterling Silver Cased Gentleman's Key Wound and set Pocket Watch in Working order,

Of a Traditional Design, the watch features a turned patterned case with buckled roundel  cartouche to the reverse and a White Enamel Dial beneath original bevelled crystal with a Black Roman Chapter Gallery display finished with blued steel hour and minute hands including sub-seconds, the watch movement includes original, removable dust cover and features as a gilded brass three quarter plate affair with a 7 jewel setting including jewelled weighted balance with Breguette hairspring, steel regulator and Swiss lever Escapement.

The Pocket watch case is marked to interior case cover and inner cuvette for London assay office circa 1912 (The very year the Titanic Sank) 925 Sterling Silver along with the Importers mark for George Stockwell of Finsbury Street, London.

George Stockwell imported a variety of of objects of Virtue during the early 20th century including Swiss made pocket watch movements to be sold to the English Market.

The Pocket Watch weighs 111.6 grams or 3.58 ounces troy and when laid flat including suspension bale measures 7.5 cm in length or 3 inches and has a case diameter and depth of 5.3 cm x 1.7 cm or 2.1 inches x 0.8 inches.

As can be seen from the photographs and the included video provided this old time piece has been through the wars (literally) and shows Character in the form dings to the silver casing and some light marks and scuffs to the crystal but as noted is in working order, taking a full wind with the period key provided and running without issue.
