Antique Early Victorian Period Fine example of a heavy Gauge Sterling Silver Tea Caddy Spoon in the traditional Kings Pattern, featuring a shovel terminal and comparatively long shank handle which is engraved with the letter 'G' in a scrolled font, the reverse to the caddy spoon bowl is impressed with markings indicating London assay office circa 1843 with the makers mark for Samuel Hayne and Dudley Cater whom were successors to the original business founded by the noted Smith Thomas Wallis, also present is the Duty mark for Queen Victoria.

The Caddy spoon measures 10.3 cm in length and is in undamaged condition, just needs a gentle clean and polish to shine again but is otherwise ready to be used, a perfect piece to complete ones period teapoy, caddy (or similar).
