Antique Early 20th Century Titanic Era Top Quality English Sterling Silver Sifter Spoon of an Ornate Design featuring a stylised Pierced and fretted Chrysanthemum flower to the bowl which is rat tailed to the underside leading to a bright cut stem terminating with a fretted Floral design dog nose handle including Fleur-Dy-Lys details.
The Spoon is in undamaged, original condition and measures 20/5 cm in length with a bowl dimension of roughly 7 cm x 5.5 cm x 1.5 cm, good clear markings are impressed to the reverse of the spoon stem indicating Sheffield assay office circa 1912 with the makers mark for the excellent James Dixon & Sons Ltd of Cornish Place, Sheffield.
