Vintage Mid Century pair of Sterling Silver Grape Shears after an earlier pattern, featuring a duo of Stylised three dimensional Foxes to the handle stems which are as a branch of Bacchanalian over-toned grapes and vines with leaves the shears terminate with a hinge and serrated pair of shears so as to serve for when snipping a sprig of grapes from a clutch.
The Shears are in well preserved condition, retain a fluid movement when used and are without dings, damages or repairs.
Measuring 16 cm in length and with a width when closed at the handle terminals of 5.5 cm the reverse to the shears are impressed with good clear markings indicating Sheffield assay office circa 1959 with the makers mark for Cooper Brothers of Arundel Street, Sheffield.
A Rare pair of Grape shears, still perfectly useable as well as being very decorative.
