Antique Early/Mid Victorian period Rare surviving example of a very ornate Cruet stand set in Silver Plate featuring a duo of frosted pressed glass preserve dishes with bright cut bases (one chipped) a duo of removable coronet fretted Egg Cups and a duo of later added spreaders including butter and pate (or similar) to complete, the mainstay of the cruet stand features a double rack to the centre for toast or otherwise, a pierced, foliate design handle to the top and is finished with scrolled Dragon claw feet terminal leg supports.

In Excellent condition save for the chip to one preserve dish the frame to the cruet features a makers pictorial mark along with the first table Rd Mark indicating manufacture to have been finished on the 23rd of May circa 1860.
The Cruet when assembled in its entirety stands 20 cm tall and has a base width and breadth of 20 cm and 16 cm respectively.
