Antique Early 19th Century Georgian Period Superb picture panel as an Oil Painting on Plaster Skimmed Mahogany Board featuring the Greek God Pan playing His Pipes to one of his companion Nymphs, He Sits upon a Red Robe under a Large Rose Bush with the Nymph sitting at his Cloven feet, the Nymph wearing traditional Grecian Robes with Laurels in her hair,  this piece being Nave captured by the Artist adding to the charm.

In Good Condition for old age but there are signs of wear present to the oil work including some crackling and scuffs, notably to the left edge where the skimmed plaster on board is visible.

The Back of the board is secured to the top with an old steel rung so as to serve for when hanging the item as part of a gallery or as a stand alone piece within the home.

The Painting is an unsigned piece and dates to around circa 1820.

The painting on board measures 19.5 cm in width and 27.5 cm in length or 7.7 inches by 10.8 inches and weighs 279 Grams or 9.8 Ounces.
