Antique high Victorian Period circa 1870 Hand Carved and manufactured Small Sized Chair that would have seated a child, carved in dark oak the chair features gothic overtones including ornate char back panel and crown and front panel accents to the lower front cage with the legs being detailed with cock-beading.

In Good condition for age, nice patination to the wood, no worm or rot, just light age related wear from handling and use throughout the years.

The Chair stands 57 cm tall and has a width and breadth of  23 cm and 22.5 cm respectively with a chair seat height of 26 cm.

Would still serve well as a novelty seat for a child or indeed as a scale sized chair for a large Brue or Bisque Doll (or as a handsome antique perch for a house cat).
