Antique Early 20th Century Good Quality pair Sterling Silver Candlesticks after a Nouveau inspired pattern, the stem and base to each being in the form of an upturned Orchid, the four speared petals coming from the turned stem of each stick around the squared and stepped foot.
Good Condition with only minor age related wear the candlesticks feature metal fitted plates to the base of each for extra weight with the foot and floor of the sconce to each stick being impressed with markings indicating Sheffield Assay office circa 1921 with the makers mark for Thomas Bradbury & Sons Ltd of Arundel Street, Sheffield.
Each Candlestick stands 17 cm tall with a base measurement of 9 cm squared, the sconce fitting to each stick has a socket diameter of 2.2 cm so will accommodate a traditional bistro or tapered candle.
