Early Vintage example of a well preserved pocket hand Warmer in Sterling Silver by the excellent Mappin & Webb.
Featuring a turned pattern exterior the hand warmer is intact with sliding drawer and removable top ring, there are no dings, holes or repairs to the item, just mild signs of wear from handling throughout the years including patination, a gentle clean and polish will bring a shine to the hand warmer again.
When closed shut the hand warmer measures6 cm x 4.3 cm x 1.5 cm in dimension and is marked to the base on the push plate for Birmingham assay office circa 1928 with the makers mark for Mappin & Webb Ltd.
