Vintage Latter 20th Century lovely Quality 9ct Yellow Gold Brooch in the form of Standing Horse or Mare complete with Tack including Saddle, nicely detailed with a chased finish the brooch measures 3.4 cm x 3 cm and is secured to the reverse with hinged gold pin and clasp in perfect working order, in excellent condition throughout the reverse to the brooch is impressed with good clear markings indicating Sheffield 9ct Gold (375) London assay office circa 1976 with the makers mark for 'Cropp & Farr Ltd whom were manufacturing jewellers of Hatton Garden, London during the period.
