Antique Edwardian Period Top Quality Sterling Silver Novelty Pin Cushion featured as the three dimensional, Free standing figure of a Farmyard Pig.
In good condition for age but showing some wear commensurate with handling and use over the years the back to the pig retains fitted and padded green velvet cushion, somewhat worn but the the silver construction to the pin cushion is without dings, splits, damage or repairs but as can be seen from the photographs will benefit from a gentle clean and polish as tarnishing is present from age.
Of a good size, the Pig measures 8.3 cm in length and stands roughly 5 cm tall with a maximum width to the body of 3 cm, the silver is marked one one side for Birmingham assay office circa 1906 with the makers mark for the Adie & Lovekin Of Frederick Street, Birmingham.
