Vintage Pre War Egyptian Solid Silver Ladies Powder Compactum in a very Art Deco Geometric pattern finished with a Superb Floral Repousse detailed hinged lid and a geometric Turned Patterned back, in very good condition the compact suffers only one small ding to the edge (please see photographs no.8 and no.10) it is in otherwise original condition more or less marked to the compact lid catch for Cairo Township 800 grade silver circa 1939.
The Compact when closed shut measures 8.3 cm x 7.7 cm x 1 cm in dimension.
The Compact will benefit from a gentle clean but not so as to take away the aged patina to the silver.
