Vintage latter 20th Century circa 1980's Unusual Take on an 18ct gold and diamond set Love Heart Pendant presented on original 18ct gold chain in the Rollo link pattern.
The Pendant comprises of two halves of a pierced, stylised love heart, one in satin brushed gold and the other in highly polished gold, the satin brushed half being set with a single brilliant cut diamond measuring roughly 0.3 pts, each of the Love Heart halves are threaded to the chain so as to move independently from one another but coming together when centred on the chain which naturally happens when worn about the neck.
In Very good vintage condition the pendant is marked for 18ct gold to both halves (750) with the accompanying chain being marked to the clasp plate for Italy 18ct Gold (750) finished with the Arezzo Township mark.
The pendant when assembled as one piece measures 1.3 cm x 1.5 cm with the chain measuring approximately 40 cm in length, makes for a lovely piece of collectible jewellery, perfect as a birthday gift or indeed as a late Valentines present.
