Antique Late 19th Century Classic Religious Themed Austro-Hungarian Brooch in Solid Silver set with Various Gemstones including a central Almandine Garnet Cabochon, Baroque Pearls and enamel work, the brooch is of an ornate fretted and scrolled foliate design mounted to the centre with a Herald Angel figure with wings spread holding a Tome, the reverse to the brooch is similarly detailed with a pierced foliate work finished backplate and completed with a hinged pin and clasp in good working order.
The Brooch measures 4.5 cm x 3.5 cm and has a depth of roughly 1 cm, there are no markings present but the item is tested for silver.
A Gorgeous antique piece of jewellery and in excellent condition.
