Antique Late 19th Century Good Quality Bar Brooch in 15ct Gold featuring an impressive Hexagonal Cut Amethyst of a gorgeous colour and clarity within a pole clasp gallery setting, the bar to the brooch terminating with ball finials finishing the piece nicely.
The Brooch is in good condition, shows light age related wear in the form of a ding to one of the ball finial terminals but is otherwise in original condition more or less and complete with working hinged pin and clasp to the reverse.
The brooch measures 4.3 cm in width and has a gemstone diameter of approximately 1.2 cm, the brooch is clearly impressed to the reverse of the bar with the old 15ct gold mark.
