Of a good useable size measuring 12.5 cm x 9.3 cm or 4.9 inches x 3.6 inches and weighing 32 grams or just over 1 ounces troy it is certainly large enough for a variety of jewellery items from Rings to bracelets and Necklaces, possibly even a cocktail watch.
The Trinket Dish is In Well preserved condition and without damage, has a pleasing aged patina to the silver but could be cleaned to a high shine if desired.
Marked clearly for Birmingham assay office circa 1903 with the makers mark for Joseph Gloster of Hockley Hill, Birmingham it makes for a Superb collectible Antique Trinket dish that will add beautifully to any dressing table setting, still being perfectly useable.
