Antique Late Georgian period Superb Artisan Crafted Charm in unmarked gold but tested to at least 14ct, featured as a traditional lidded wicker Egg basket decorated with Home Oak leaves the charm is finished to the base with an inset cut and polish stone of Cairngorm Citrine so as to serve as a seal when engraved with an intaglio, in very good condition for age the Charm is without damage or repairs and shows only light age related wear from handling.
The Charm measures 2.4 cm in length and has a width and breadth of roughly 1.3 cm, the cairngorm seal end stone has a width and breadth of roughly 7 mm x 5 mm.
A Gorgeous antique charm dating to the circa 1820s, would have been worn as a fob with a watch chain or indeed as a pendant when threaded with a chain and strung about the neck.
