Antique, Rare Late Victorian Era Second Boer War Silver Struck, Full Sized Medal for the Imperial Military Railway's Regiment, this piece being impressed to the rim with the awarded recipients namesake for 'W.A Mitchell Imp. Mil. Rlys'

In Very good condition for age and including original silk Ribbon, the medal including ribbon weighs 36 Grams (1.15 Ounces Troy) with the medal itself measuring 3.7 cm (1.4 Inches) in diameter and has a length including suspension bar of 5 cm (2 Inches)

Makes for a unique, original addition to any collection of period medals and 2nd Boer War Militaria, and highly Interesting being Railway related, albeit Military.

Included with the medal is a printed copy of the recipients name and position within the Imperial Railway's regiment dated circa 1901.
