Antique Great War Era Military Marching Compass, this being the Verner's Patent no 19259 Circa 1915.
Manufactured in gilded brass the compass retains vulcanised roundel to the case and crystal with hinged cover and graticule, dial is clean also with crystal intact and undamaged, to confirm the compass is fully functional giving true north with accuracy.
The Compass when closed shut excluding bale measures 7.3 cm x 6 cm x 2.3 cm and is fully marked to the case for Verners Patent with serial number and Legend indicating Swiss Manufacture, the compass is complete with original stitched leather case is remarkably good condition for age.
