Antique Mid Victorian period circa 1860's Lovely Quality hand Drawn Ink Silhouette bust portrait of that of a mature lady in pose, wearing appropriate dress of the period with bonnet, the silhouette is realized on vellum and mounted in original ebonized wooden frame with gilded brass bezel and finished to the top with a traditional Acorn and leaf clasp with hinged bale so as to serve for when hanging from a wall as part of a gallery, the reverse to the frame is vacant of cladding and shows the old tole tooth mounting fittings securing the portrait in place within the frame, there is provenance to the reverse of the silhouette in the form of the hand written legend "Christabella Rolf Bailey" no doubt indicating namesake of the subject, good condition, light sepia to the vellum, age related wear to the frame as photographed,
