Antique Late Victorian Period Circa 1880's Rare Example of a Bonnet or Hat Pin (would also serve as a Stick Pin/Stock Pin due to smaller shank size) featured as an Acorn from an Oak Tree,
Nicely Detailed the Acorn finial to the pin is in 9ct Gold and impressed with the old 9ct mark, the pin itself is in silver washed steel.
In Good Antique condition with nice aged patina to the gold Acorn and age related tarnishing to the silver washed steel pin shaft.
The Bonnet pin measures 10.8 cm in length or 4.25 inches and weighs 1.2 Grams or 0.038 Ounces Troy.
Still very wearable this lovely old Bonnet pin would serve for both garments and hats alike.
