Antique Edwardian Period Lovely Quality Bottle Stopper From a Communion Set or similar featured as a Crux terminal in Sterling silver with fittings to original tapered cork, this item having plugged its original bottle to secure contents within be it holy water, wine or otherwise.
Measuring 6.3 cm in length with a cork diameter at the collar of 1.7 cm the silver is marked for London assay office circa 1909 with the makers mark for Thomas Pratt & Sons of The Strand, London, T. Pratt & Sons were clerical furnishers of the period.
A Lovely antique piece, one that will serve for a variety of uses.
