Antique Georgian Period Lovely Quality Sterling Silver Tea Caddy Spoon in the Shelled Fiddle pattern finished with an engraved set of initials the handle featuring the letters 'JC' in a scrolled font, in Excellent condition throughout this fine example is impressed to the reverse of the handle stem with good clear markings indicating London assay office circa 1827 with the makers mark for William Traies, also present is the duty mark for King George IV.

The Spoon measures 9.3 cm in length with a bowl dimension of 4.3 cm x 3.4 cm x 7 mm.
The spoon will benefit from a gentle clean and polish but is otherwise in original condition more or less.
