Antique Early 20th Century Islamic /Middle Eastern Artisan crafted traditional styled casket shaped hinge lidded spice or Myrrh box finished with chased floral detailed strap galleries to the lid and box collar, the lid being finished with a central embossed four petalled flower head.
The box features a front lock ring and latch clasp to keep contents within secure (with appropriate lock of choice) and measures 8.2 cm x 6.8 cm x 4 cm in dimension, no makers mark are present to the box but the underside to the box is impressed with the 850 silver mark.
A Quality, handsome antique piece dating to around circa 1910.
