Antique Early 20th Century Arts & Crafts Rare Designer Creamer or Milk Jug by Liberty & Co, A Fantastic Edwardian piece bearing hand manufactured signs throughout the jug features a closed Celtic wave pattern gallery to the collar and is finished with a snub nosed beak for pouring and part fluted, scrolled handle and turned stem with proud foot to the base.
The Creamer stands 7.4 cm tall and has a width from handle edge to beak edge of 10.3 cm and a diameter to the brim of 6.5 cm, the underside to the foot of the jug is impressed with good clear markings indicating Birmingham Assay office circa 1902 along with the Liberty & Co mark, there is also the impressed series of numbers 50176 no doubt pertaining to the registered design by one of the artists commissioned during the period.
A Fine Antique Collectible piece and in undamaged condition.
