Antique Late Victorian Period Lovely Quality Sterling Silver Scent or Perfume Bottle detailed to the body in a gallery wrap of floral repousse of an ornate design, in excellent condition the scent bottle features a solid and enjoyable to use hinged button type lid which when opened reveals the mouth to the bottle with glass liner so as to to fill with a desired scent and dap upon a finger as needed for use, closing the lid delivers a resounding 'click' as does opening it.
The bottle is without dings, damages or repairs, shows only light age related wear and is impressed to the underside of the base for Birmingham assay office circa 1893, with lid closed shut the scent bottle measures 5.8 cm in length with a body diameter of roughly 2 cm.
