Dating from a time when mourning jewellery was sadly very popular, this is a charming antique mourning ring with braided hair and black enamel dating from the mid Victorian period with charming forget me not flowers to the shoulders. The gold is gully hallmarked to the inside of the band, Birmingham assay along with the date letter for the year 1865. There is some damage to the enamel, the hair seems to be in good order please see the pictures. A wonderful and collectable antique ring.
