Antique Early 19th Century Georgian Period Superb Example of an Artisan Jeweller made Large Setting Mourning Ring in unmarked 15ct Yellow Gold boasting Old Cut Diamonds to a Surmounted Funerary Urn Detail to a Black Enamel Mat housed within a closing perpetual Gallery of Seed Pearls, finely detailed, the Funerary urn is a lidded affair set to the centre with a pear cut diamond accented with flanking droppers and a squared foot, each of which are set with old cut diamonds totalling 9 in number, the setting to the ring is a solid affair and mounted with a ring shank featuring tapering broad shoulders chased with a fluted panel pyramid.
The Setting to the ring measures 3.4 cm x 2 cm with the ring shank sizing to a U.K N 1/2 (N and a half).
A Fantastic Antique piece of Mourning Jewellery dating to around circa 1820 and in superb condition, one that will make for a centre piece to any collection as well as being very much wearable.
