Antique Latter 19th Century Top Quality Tea Caddy Spoon in Sterling Silver manufactured in the Kings Pattern, a solid piece finished to the interior of the bowl with chased depiction of the North Star centred with an engraved monogram featuring the letters 'CJ' in a scrolled font.
In Very good condition throughout and with a pleasing aged patina but could be cleaned and polished to a high shine if desired the caddy spoon measures10 cm in length and has a bowl dimension of roughly 4.3 cm x 3.5 cm x 1 cm in dimension, the reverse to the stem of the spoon is impressed with a set of low marks indicating London assay office circa 1861 with the makers mark for Chawner & Co of Hosier Lane, Smithfield, London.
