Antique circa 1900 French Gilded Bronze Novelty Toothpick Holder/Case featured as a stylised Napoleonic War Legionary holding a Rifle with bayonet fitting, the bayonet to be a toothpick which would be stored within the flip top head of the figure (would also serve for matches).
Standing 9 cm tall and with a width and breadth of roughly 4.3 cm x 3.5 cm it makes for an amusing collectible period display piece as well as being quite useful.
The Item is in undamaged condition but shows wear to the gilding commensurate with old age.
