Antique early 19th Century Rare Surviving Example of a Russian Silver Pointer used in the Judaic Faith, in good condition for age the pointer features as an ornate wand with pointing hand terminal, the pointing finger being adorned with a static sapphire ring, the top finial to the pointer features a pierced, lidded enclosure which would have held an miniature paper litany or scented scroll and is finished with a panelled pillar with an adorned six pointed star set with a Turquoise Cabochon below which is a heavily detailed filigree collar leading to the turned bulb and spiral rope adorned, tapered terminal.

There are a few small dings to the pointer, nothing serious and no holes or repairs making it quite a fine example impressed to the pillar with the Saint Petersburg mark, the Russian 84 standard mark and the assay masters mark with year 'A.H 1812'.
The Pointer measures 38.5 cm in length with a maximum diameter to the handle of 3.5 cm.
