Vintage Latter 20th Century lovely Quality Green Man themed Pill or Trinket Box in Sterling Silver Repousse, of a classic design after a squat roundel the lid to the box features a wealth of three dimensional details including a central set Cartouche within an open gallery of floral work including Woodland birds and the Green man, smiling, the vacant cartouche above the green man terminates with a scroll and pierced pyramid motif.
In very good vintage condition, there being no dings, damages or repairs and the interior of the box retaining original gilding it makes for a wonderful collectible piece after an earlier 20th Century Design.
The Box with lid in place measures 4.5 cm in diameter with a depth of 2.3 cm, will serve for a variety of uses but an ideal option for pills or trinkets.
The Box is marked to the body for Birmingham assay office circa 1987 with the makers mark for W.I Broadway & Co.
