Antique Early 19th Century Fine Quality Sterling Silver Tea Caddy Spoon with a Scalloped Shell Bowl finished with a fiddle thread handle and a fantastic, unique Crest to the handle terminal of that of a Sea Serpent with a fish in its mouth.

The Caddy spoon is without dings, dents, splits or repairs making it to be a fine example of the period marked to the reverse of the handle stem for London assay office circa 1807 with the makers mark for William Ely I and William Fern, also present is the duty mark for King George III.
The Caddy spoon measures 9.7 cm in length with a bowl dimension of roughly 4.5 cm x 3.8 cm x 1 cm.
