Antique Late Victorian period circa 1900 Top Quality Gentleman's Hip Flask by the excellent Mappin & Webb of Sheffield, this particular example being of an oval pebble shape with a half clad crocodile skin cladding to a mouth blown glass body complete with silver plated fittings including the patent 'twist and lock' bayonet cap lid intact with cork butting and a removable tot cup to the base so as to serve for when partaking or sharing in a beverage.
In Good antique condition the flask measures 15.5 cm x 8.3 cm x 3.4 cm in dimension and is in undamaged condition but does show age related signs of wear from handling and no doubt previous use throughout he many years of its life.
