Antique Late Victorian Period circa 1900 Fine Quality French Ormolu Cased Carriage Clock featuring an a large open matt rectangular dial in white enamel with Black Roman Chapter Gallery Display including blued steel Fleur-Dy-Lys pattern hour and minute hands beneath original bevelled glaze which features upon all four sides to the clock case,, in the Corinthian style the clock features a Pediment roof as one might find on an architectural mausoleum (or similar) fitted with an ornate hinged carry handle, the back of the clock featuring a hinged swing door which allows one access to the clock palette and ultimately the movement which is in full working order with jewelled platform balance and cylinder escapement along with accessible regulator and duo of winding studs for both movement and hand adjustment for time keeping.

The Clock is provided with vintage key for winding the movement and adjusting the hands and is in fine running order having been recently serviced, the clock runs strong and keeps good time, especially considering age.

Cosmetically the Clock is well preserved save for a hairline to the enamel dial at the top right corner, dial is signed for 'Weir & Sons - Dublin' (Paris), the clock palette is signed 'Made In France'.

The Clock with carry handle laid flat stands 13 cm tall and has a case width and breadth of 8 cm and 6.5 cm.
