Antique Late Victorian Period Good Quality Gothic Arch style Chiming mantle clock featuring a pendulum based key wound movement, cased in Walnut with a mahogany base the clock front is detailed with a shelled oval in specimen wood inlay including Olivewood and Sycamore within a Boxwood strung closing gallery, the clock dial is matted in brass with an Arabic gallery display with central set Enamel Roundel surmounted with an ornate fretted Cross with stylised ships wheel centre piece, the dial is finished with blued steel hour and minute hands for time telling.

The back of the clock features a vented brass hinged swing door which when opened reveals the movement palette with striking hammer, steel coil chime and pendulum mount, original pendulum is included along with key for wining the mainspring.

Overall condition is very good for age, some wear present, nothing serious and the clock is in good running order having been recently serviced and strikes on the hour and every half hour.

The Clock stands 28.5 cm tall with a base width and breadth of 18.3 cm and 11 cm respectively.
