Late Victorian period circa 1900 Lovely Quality 9ct Rose Gold Mounted Portrait brooch in Porcelain (photograph developed in black and grey on the porcelain) of that of a mature gentleman in traditional garb.
In Good condition, with only a few light marks to the porcelain the brooch measures 4 cm in length and 3.3 cm in width with a depth of 7 mm.
the reverse to the brooch is intact with hinged pin and clasp in good order, also present is a static lug so as to serve for when securing a safety chain.
The brooch was likely a Memento Mori or Sweetheart piece of the period and is marked to the reverse for 9ct gold.
Size 4 x 3.3 x 0.7 cm or 1.57 x 1.29 x 0.27 inches.
Weight : 7.9 grams or 0.27 ounces.
