Antique Early 19th Century period Lovely Quality Sterling Silver Mug, Likely a Christening mug but then later used as a chutney mug for a table setting, of a classic design after a coopers strapped barrel the mug features a handle after the ancient Greek Amphora and is finished proud lipped rim, good clear assay markings are present to the collar of the mug indicating London Assay office circa 1817 with the makers mark for Samuel Knight whom was a silver worker from c1815 through to c1819, also present is the duty mark for King George III.
