Vintage Top Quality Matched pair of Sterling Silver Ladles in Excellent Condition manufactured in the Old English pattern, Featuring solid Dropped Goose Egg bowls and nicely curved stems the handle to each ladle is engraved with the letter 'L' in a turned and scrolled font, each ladle is without damage, repairs or otherwise, each being in original condition more or less, verbatim impressed to the reverse of the handle stem to each with good clear markings indicating Birmingham assay office circa 1936 with the makers mark for Barker Brothers Ltd of Paradise Street, Birmingham they make for a fine pair of serving ladles, ideal for sauce or Au Jus, very useful for this coming festive period as well as adding a touch of high class to ones dining table.
Each Ladle measures 14.5 cm in length or 5.7 inches with a bowl dimension of 5 cm x 4 cm x 1.5 cm or 1.9 x 1.5 x 0.6 inches.
