There is no Auto Trader price guide or Glasses guide for Antiques
We as antiques dealers learn by results and experience, and just to spice it up approx every 7 years the trade changes direction all together i.e. what sold last year stops selling this year, and whilst it tend to come back sometime there can be a good passage of time, 10 years sometimes.
Busy is pretty good, generally unlike a few years ago general clutter and stuff on the walls and in peoples kitchen is all back on trend. Youngsters are actively seeking antiques and vintage out, and not just from old money back grounds now youngsters from all backgrounds want and desire to have unique items in there houses and flats and even their university halls of residence.
So in summary I am afraid there is no easy price guide and comparing apples with pears never works so common sense and visiting lots of places especially places like Top Banana Antiques as we have such a huge stocks giving the buyer a chance to compare like with like.
