Obtuse but true, people want to sell and people want to buy, and antiques when chosen well are categorically a good investment.
Without any shadow of doubt against new items where almost any antique item will win hands down, most new items could not be made for a fraction of the cost pf antiques, let alone the same quality.
Top Banana is 20 years old this year, the manager has been at it 45 years, we think has been through about 9 recessions, does anyone recall 19% interest rates in the late 1980s?.
Ever since we opened the antiques world has been tricky, we are still full of dealers and still full of life. Now we also have many youngsters as dealers with new opinions and new views and most importantly energy.
