Maybe a better question is what is a finding, a finding is an item used in jewllery normally to connect one item to another.
Such as a jump ring , bold ring , dog clip , split ring or wires for earrings etc, clasps for necklaces etc
As these item with misuse or wear and tear over time can break, really good to have access to good antique and vintage items in silver gold and gold cased.
