Funny thing many people in the antiques trade are Dyslexic
Lots have A.D.H.D, Autism, Bi Polar and Depression, to name only a few, now we are not Psychiatrists, however all these things actually if turned around actually are positives, really they are.
The antiques trade has always been a haven for LBGTQ persons and no one would care if you turned up with purple hair in a tutu. We are pleased to let people do their own thing and do it well.
Really so many of these so called afflictions in paragraph one, for a twist or actually flipping it on its head and a half empty glass becomes a half full one. Most antiques dealers are very bright not necessarily with a string of degrees although some do. Often people from the most desert like backgrounds with no history or antiques or vintage in their families somehow become really good dealers, and by good dealers I mean dealers who sell good straightforward goods without deviating from the truth or either having people when they buy or sell.
Do a survey and you'll see how many have had some of these things and have turned it around to work for them, if nothing bringing tutu's back into fashion.
