Fair or not
One finds it hard to understand why you would do an antiques fair and advertise your at the fair selling whilst your shop is open at the same time.
Sometimes its good to clear stock, or old friends as old stock is often known.
However nearly all dealers at Top Banana Antiques do not do fairs, simply they don't need too and if certain items of stock are not shifting simply changing price will facilitate the sale.
Really fairs generally add extra costs and overheads to one business and undermine the bottom line.
Selling from a shop as Top Banana Antiques is far in the way the most cost effective way of selling antiques, of course you still need to be mindful of having commercial stock and well priced and then sales follow.
One thing a shop seller can learn from a market trader is re-displaying of stock and moving unsold stock into fresh and more prime position makes a massive difference.
