Constantly keeping on top of ever increasing post charges particularly since lockdown
Postage a fairly dull subject but as a buissness particuclary as a buisness that derives a fair amount of its income from online sales, of which a large amount of these are posted.
However since lockdown number one, there have been less planes flying therefore international postage has gone up by 50 %. Cunningly too the post office felt they were been taken advantage off by weight alone and decided to add a dimensional weight to items so if more than 2 cm or 0.8 " thick, the price was double so even a large ring, certainly a ring box cost double.
So like all thinking businesses we have reacted making our own very decent jewel boxes that look smart, make an antique item into a nice present. and go through the post safely, efficiently and cost effectively.
