Chinese export
No, no, no. Not a bunch of cheap metal and plastic electrical items.
A highly sought after in particular, by the large British country estates Chinese export porcelain, in the early 18th century, was made in the European taste, in this case copying Sevres porcelain. A household could order a design and in particular add their family crest of monogram making a large service unique and specific to their house, estate and family.
Also a large amount of blue and white pottery was produced again in the European taste. In turn in the late 18th and early 19th century we tented to copy the Chinese look with pottery's like Worcester, Lambeth, and Josiah Heath to name a few. Let alone the ubiquitous willow pattern pottery.
A highly sought after and quality genre to collect and appreciate.
